Hypnosis is a long term and permanent solution, not a quick fix. The way it works is that it builds new positive habits and helps to erode and over time eliminate negative habits such as binge eating. Most psychologists agree that it takes at least 21 days (3 weeks) to form a new habit and approximately 42 days (6 weeks) to make these new habits permanent. This is why on track one of the CD Rick recommends listening every day for 6 weeks.
Therefore, since you are already receiving benefits and noticing changes you are doing well but need to continue listening to the CD for another 4-5 weeks or so to cement these changes. After 6 weeks you should notice a big difference in the problem area and should also notice a positive change in your self-image which will support you in your new habits as time progresses. After 6 weeks it is advisable to keep listening but you can cut down to 3 times per week. Eventually you may only need to listen once per week to give you a boost and keep you on the right track permanently.
